To identify current threats, issues and challenges to historic and current investigations where the public, vulnerable persons may be at high risk of harm and review how victims are supported. Identify issues or gaps within the investigation and to provide advice, support and guidance to proactive and reactive investigations.

We will provide…

A team of highly skilled and experienced review specialists to undertake thorough reviews on current and historic cases. They will provide information, advice and guidance to help improve the approach and outcomes of the investigations. In addition, cases will be reviewed to understand if there are critical gaps or additional actions recommended to the OICs.

Statement of Work (SOW) / Output

1) Review each case provided by the organisation, thoroughly
2) Identify whether the public and/or vulnerable persons are at risk
3) Take immediate and appropriate safeguarding measures to protect them
4) all proportionate reactive lines of enquiry have been pursed and whether any investigative opportunities have been missed
5) To ensure that once suspects are identified the appropriate response is in place to control such suspects from any further offending thereby safeguarding known and unknown victims.
6) Provide guidance and support to officers with current live investigations. They will mentor officers on best practice and policy for cases
7) Provide assistance and guidance on the writing of investigation strategy and investigation plans. Mentoring staff to ensure they fully understand the benefits of both, and thereby producing high quality investigative products.
8) Achieve the deliverables set by the organisation within the agreed time period.
