Across the last year the Red Snapper Group have developed a brand new course – “Introduction to Police Staff Investigative Knowledge & Competencies” – developed with Policing experts who help in training new recruits, detectives and senior officers and Police Policy experts who advise on key legislation important for all law enforcement professionals.
The course covers the following e-learning modules with 13 hours of blended learning including pre-recorded video presentations and online knowledge checks and assessment that will provide reportable data to compare with initial assessments, thereby providing quantitative data.
- Evidence Gathering and Evidence Based Investigations
- Witness Interviewing and Statement Taking
- Dealing with Suspects
- Court Procedures and CPIA (Disclosure)
The training will be complimented by a 7 hour virtual classroom event to conclude the programme of learning which will consolidate all of the learning elements above in a practical scenario based session hosted by law enforcement training professionals.
